    Warming up to study at the University of Fine Arts

    In order to ensure a smooth start at art college, we make effective use of the period before admission to provide practical guidance on drawing to improve basic skills such as how to see and perceive things, expressiveness, and imagination, which are necessary for studying art and design.
    In addition, we offer a drawing workshop "drawing course" and drawing correspondence correction instruction to prepare students for the entrance examination.

    Experience

    To determine what field you are suited for in the future. You will determine what field you are suited for in the future. To Select Primary Area and Sub Area. You will select Primary Area and Sub Area.

    In the first semester of the first year, students will learn the basic practice (Common Basic Subjects) necessary to cultivate creativity in the field of art and design, and acquire the ability to observe, create, and think.

    In the second semester, students will select one primary area and one sub area from each of the following areas: "Flat Surface Modeling," "Three-dimensional Modeling," "Visual Design," and "Image Media," and learn practical skills (Elective Basic Subjects) broadly and cross-sectionally, so that they can determine what field you are suited for.

    This curriculum model provides the function of introductory education to various fields related to art and design.

    Digital Expression
    (Compulsory credit / Digital Literacy)

    Digital skills, especially the use of computers, are becoming essential not only in the design field but also in the art field.In the first year curriculum, the university offers a digital literacy course called "Digital Expression," in which students learn digital skills that are useful in society.

    To select the course to which you belong. To learn advanced professional skills and expressive skills.

    In the second year, students choose their course of study from among 10 courses and work on building a foundation for expression. In the third year, students aim to acquire advanced expressive techniques and develop their knowledge and skills as well as their ability to think and plan.

    Context Arts Subject

    This course is offered as a free elective from the second to the fourth year of study in order to respond to the borderless evolution of contemporary art and design. Context" means context and pre/post relationships, and students will learn practical skills related to their courses to enrich and broaden their expertise.

    In the fourth year, each student pursues and practices the expression that society needs in small-group education.

Liberal Arts Subjects

The University offers a variety of basic liberal arts courses to nurture the broad knowledge and rich humanity that form the foundation for creativity.The curriculum consists of general education courses such as philosophy, economics, economics, and environmental science, a group of courses related to plastic arts and media expression, and specialized courses such as Artistic Anatomy, Japanese, Eastern, and Western art history, and Study of Artistic Crafts to build a foundation for expressive individuals.
